While the photo addresses women, this is not a gender statement. It is a universal truth. So, if you don’t mind, ignore the first word . . . . or replace it with “People” . . . . I’m talking to everyone reading this. Not only women, not only men and people of all ages.
Part of our daily struggle is that we’re multidimensional people, in flattened, single dimensional situations. When you go to work, often they don’t care how you feel about your work emotionally, physically and spiritually. They want you to commit to the mental exercise for as long as it takes and produce good results. When you’re at the gym, you’re there (primarily) to work on the physical aspect of your being and temporarily, you don’t focus on your emotional or spiritual needs.
